The owner is in fact “baiano”: José Ferreira de Andrade opened the pub in 1967 serving a specialty from his state: jerked meat. Different dishes and appetizers also have this ingredient.
The most famous appetizer is jerked meat “paçoca” made in the pestle that is made by the owner himself. On Saturdays, there is chicken and toasted pigtail. The menu has other appetizers options, besides much cold beer and also a “cachaça” list with more than 20 brands.
